Seated Leg Extension Exercise Video

 

Sit toward the front edge of a sturdy chair and lean back. Keeping both feet flat on the floor, pull your left knee toward your chest, then extend your left leg out straight, on a 3-second count, and hold for 1 second. Slowly bend the left leg back and lower it to the starting position. Work your way up to 10 repetitions. Repeat the same movement and repetition sequence, but with the right leg.
